London & Quadrant Housing Trust bid for Southwark

The L&Q Group is one of 2,000 housing associations that work in the UK. Their main purpose is to provide high quality, affordable homes.

When London and Quadrant were looking for presentation graphics for an upcoming regeneration bid they chose Franklin Rees Associates.

Working from initial design stage drawings produced by Levitt-Bernstein, a three-dimensional model of the area was created. Regeneration manager John Lumley had requested that the scene look vibrant, with activity and families, a far cry from the existing street.

Franklin Rees Associates took the decision that a photo-montage would be the best option considering the time constraints and the brief. This would be used to illustrate the context of the scheme in its actual location.

The final image was a great success; John assured that the image had given his company great competitive advantage, a “…fantastic addition to [his] presentation”. We await the response with eager ears…
