Coloured site plans, also known as coloured maps can make an ideal compliment to your architectural master plan or even your marketing material. They can be used to illustrate a site layout with a much greater clarity then an ordinary site plan, especially useful for those without an acute understanding of drawings.
Taking hand-drawn or cad plans in to design software we initially calculate the shadow casting properties of the building adding dramatic depth to the appearance of the drawing. We then apply the textures, created using true manufacturers’ samples for complete accuracy and scaling. All types of artistic style can be accommodated such as watercolour, pen, or oil finish. These can be created to suit individual requirements.
Coloured site plans can be created in many styles, to be realistic, abstract or even match your corporate colours. They are extremely useful in many situations, from the planning stage to off-plan sales.

Typically elevations drawn using cad software are flat and lack depth. Often they are misrepresentative of the true architectural intent of the designer. Coloured elevations involve the texturing and lighting of two-dimensional elevations to give the impression of depth and material specification.
Creating coloured elevations is not as time consuming as architectural visualisations, and can therefore be produced at a greatly reduced cost. They are particularly great with communicating to planning authorities, or illustrating a number of different designs in your marketing material.
